Support

Kinto is built and supported by one person. Every message reaches them directly.

Emailcontact@brooksail.com

In the app — open Settings → Support to start a conversation without leaving Kinto. Replies appear in the same place.

Expect a reply within a couple of days. Include your account email and, if something went wrong, roughly when it happened — it makes it far quicker to find.

Common questions

My verification code hasn't arrived

Codes are six digits and arrive by email within a minute or two. Check the spam folder first. If it still hasn't come through, tap resend, and if that fails, email us — we can verify the account manually.

How do I add my partner?

Open the household screen and share your six-character invite code. They enter it when they sign up, and you'll both see the same lists, plans and chat from that moment on. A household is private — only people who join with your code can see anything in it.

How do I delete my account and my data?

Open Settings → Delete account in the app and confirm with your password. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. If you share a household, your messages and the things you added stay with the remaining member and your name shows as “Former member”; if you're the only member, the whole household and its content are deleted. You can also email contact@brooksail.com if you'd rather we do it for you.

How do I get a copy of my data?

Ask at the same address and we'll send you an export of the content held for your account.

Something the AI did was wrong

Anything Kinto creates is a card you can edit or delete yourself. Tapping an AI message shows a log of exactly what it did, which is the most useful thing to send us if the behaviour looked wrong.

I'm not getting notifications

Check that notifications are allowed for Kinto in the iOS Settings app, then check the per-category switches in Settings → Notifications inside Kinto. Kinto deliberately stays quiet for ordinary chatter — you're notified when someone @mentions you, when a reminder is due, or when there's an announcement.

Reporting content or a problem with another member

Household content is only visible to the people in your household. If someone in your household is posting content you're not comfortable with, remove them from the household or email us and we'll act on it.
